Multi-Jurisdictional Non-Invasive Technology for Coronary Artery Plaque Analysis CAC Meeting: May 25, 2023

CGS Administrators, along with WPS Government Health Administrators, National Government Services (NGS), Noridian Healthcare Solutions, and Palmetto GBA, held a multi-jurisdictional Contractor Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting on Thursday, May 25, 2023.

The purpose of the meeting was to obtain advice from a select panel regarding the strength of published evidence regarding Non-Invasive Technology for Coronary Artery Plaque Analysis and any compelling clinical data to assist in defining meaningful and measurable patient outcomes for our Medicare beneficiaries. CAC panels do not make coverage determinations, but MACs benefit from their advice.
