Multi-Jurisdictional Sacroiliac Joint Injections and Procedures Contractor Advisory Committee Meeting: March 10, 2022

Medicare Administrative Contractors held a Multi-Jurisdictional Contractor Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting on March 10, 2022, from 2—4 p.m. ET.

The purpose of the meeting is to obtain advice from CAC members and subject matter experts (SMEs) regarding the strength of published evidence on Sacroiliac Joint Injections and Procedures. In addition this discussion, the CAC and SME panel voted on pre-distributed questions. 

A panel of experts discussed the Sacroiliac Joint Injections and Procedures. CAC panels do not make coverage determinations, but MACs benefit from their advice.
